Bowmanville Pic-O-Mats Statistics and History
The Bowmanville Pic-O-Mats were a Junior B hockey team that played in the Memorial Arena in Bowmanville as part of the Metro Junior B Hockey League's 1962-63 season. The team was announced in September of 1962 by team president Bob Watt, Sr, and the team's coach was announced as E.V. "Mike" Osborne, a local youth coach, in October 1962. The Pic-O-Mat Vending Machine Company of Oshawa was the team's primary sponsor, inspiring the unusual team name.
