Windsor Bulldogs Statistics and History [1928-1936 IHL]
The Windsor Bulldogs were a Minor Professional hockey team based in Windsor, ONT playing in the International Hockey League from 1928 to 1936. The team played in the Border Cities Arena.
When the IHL voted to merge with the Canadian-American Hockey League to form the International-American Hockey League in 1936, Windsor decided to drop out of this new league, citing prior financial difficulties coupled with an increase in travel expenses with the expanded league. Although the franchise was held for another year, the team never returned to the league.
